About Me

Chef Issachar was a professional chef who completed le Grande Diplome (Culinary and Pastry)  at Le Cordon Bleu, and trained in Paris and Spain.  Most recently, he acquired basic Japanese culinary skills at Le Cordon Bleu Tokyo, and also through some short stints in Japanese kitchens.  He believes food should be enjoyed, treasuring techniques that brings out the best in the freshest ingredients, but also in the simplicity of tastes at times.  Leaving the kitchens, he hopes to offer a cuisine unbound by the constraints of definitions, that you and your guests may enjoy in an intimate setting reminiscent of a balmy Mediterranean night under the stars.

FAQ

1.  A party of 6pax is required for a private booking, less than so, we may extend the available seats to others (Hey, you might get to make new friends!) 
2.  Menu price : $98 per pax for a 4-course prix fixe menu (nett), homemade sourdough, cold starter, warm starter, mains and a dessert.  The same menu will have to be taken by the whole table. 
3. Current opening hours: Saturday dinner 7.30pm to 10.30pm, Sunday lunch 12noon to 3pm.  (Do check back for possible inclusion of more dining periods.)
4. Location: Cantonment area, opposite of the Pinnacle.  A multi-storey carpark is available a short stroll away.
5.  Menu and Dietary Restriction:  Due to the proximity of ingredients used in the kitchen, please enquire beforehand if you have certain dietary restrictions.
6. Beverage:  Filtered water and ice will be provided free of charge, as well as a standard (black) coffee or tea at the end of the meal.
7. BYO flat fee of $30 per event one-time charge for use of wine glasses.  Please enquire beforehand if you need ice to chill bubbly or whites.
8.  For safety reasons, we do not allow unconsumed food to be taken away.
9.  We have a cat in the house, he keeps to his room, and the house is thoroughly cleaned.  However for guests who may have pet allergies, please take note.
10. As much as our guests feel comfortable in our home setting, we request that they depart no later than 30 mins after the listed dining periods.  Thank you for your understanding.  
11.  A deposit of 50% is required 2 weeks before, to secure the booking.  This becomes non-refundable 1 week before the event.
